Flat style - lollipop?

Hello all,

New to the forum but I have flirted with xfce over the years among other distros and desktops.

Personally I like the the stability that xfce coupled with xubuntu offers, a nice lightweight OS that is very stable and traditional looking.

However I think the new plasma 5 looks stunning but it's so unstable and it's not like my laptop is lightweight!!

Looking for the best of both worlds. Is there a theme and set of icons that an emulate the flat almost lollipop look of plasma 5?

Many thanks.

Ps. If I've posted this in the wrong forum, please move - apologies.

Hello and welcome.

Have a look at the gnome-breeze theme and the emerald icon theme.

Some of these themes seems to be in that Google "Material Design"
http://www.noobslab.com/2015/02/materia … e-for.html
http://itsfoss.com/install-paper-theme-linux/ (there is also icon theme)

I personaly use Arc theme (there is also Arc theme for Firefox and Chrome)
https://github.com/horst3180/Arc-theme

From icons, you could try flat themed icons like Numix, Flattr or Ultra Flat
