Re: How to disable screenlock?

Which screen locking program were you using and how did you turn it off?

Is the screen just blanking now or is also locking?

What do the following commands return?

ps -ef | grep lock
ps -ef | grep saver

Re: How to disable screenlock?

so you use gnome-screensaver, just remove it if you don't need a screen saver and locker

Re: How to disable screenlock?

Ok, i uninstalled gnome-screensaver. I also found a setting in the Xfce powermanager configuration to set the screen to disable instead of locking it when i close my laptop lid. I hope everything works now as i want it.

Thanks for your help!
