Hello.
We don't auto-delete accounts.
So what does that mean?
You account will be removed if you haven't made any posts within a couple of months after registration, so if you have nothing serious to post in other forums; say hello here!

It probably means that if you're a bot that registers an account but never posts, you're account will be deleted. But, OtOH, if you're a person who registers an account, posts a "Hello" thread, maybe posts a thread or two asking for help or discussing some facet of Xfce... and then takes a three-year vacation on Mars, your account will still be usable upon your return to Terra.
I'm just guessing.
Regards,
MDM

And you would be right..... I registered in early 2009 with a problem... (I assume) and later on use KDE for about 5 years. I am now back on XFCE (and very happy to be there) and discovered that my 2009 account was still available.....

It would appear that at one point in time, accounts were being deleted. That stopped a number of years ago. I'm trying to find out from Nick (the maintainer of this website) whether we should continue this practice or change the blurb for that section. To be honest, there aren't so many new registrations that its unmanageable. It is nice though, that people introduce themselves when they register. Makes it easier to join the community.
