Problem with Window Manager shortcuts

Hello, I changed the ALT+SPACE combination that is used in XFCE to open the current window menu, setting it to SHIFT+ESC. Everytime I reboot though, even if in the Window Manager settings my combination is kept (I can read "SHIFT+ESC" in the shortcuts column), the actual behaviour is again the default one, i.e. I have to press ALT+SPACE. Is this a bug or a fault of mine? I have to set my combination again after each reboot... Thank you for your help.

Well as you can see

Linux Mint 17.1 is based on Ubuntu 14.04. Make sure to read the Ubuntu release notes
