What xfce wants for the shutdown buttons to work?

Okay,
I am running Gentoo with systemd, so my shutdown/restart buttons work in LightDM, but they are "grayed-out" in xfce? What does xfce want for these buttons to appear?

I guess it's polkit but i'm not sure see also my apt dependencies of xfces session manager(4.10):
