inconsistant free space

Nautilus, thunar, gparted and the xfce free space checker panel plugin are showing hard drive space inconsistencies

What version of Thunar is that?

More information on Thunar size descrepancy issues here. I believe the disk space checker uses MB.

What does the following show:

df -h
df -H

'h' = MB, 'H' = MiB.
