Hello, dear authors and commiters of xfce4-screenshooter!
I must say, XFCE Desktop Environment it is an excellent working environment, which I use for a long time on many working computers. The xfce4-screenshooter application also is quite comfortable, but having one unconsidered actions of dialogue...
Imagine, that you need to do a lot of screenshots in a serie, - for example, it is screenshots of certain workflow, at least OS installing process...
It is quite clear, that a series of screenshots saved into some once created and/or selected folder. All screenshots, excludes first screenshot on the serie, while maintaining not need confirmation to select the location of folder to save it in the file system. And therefore constantly appearing dialog - select "Save As..." simply is very annoying to a person engaged in such work!..
Meanwhile, the programming solution is trivial - well done if the screenshoter's dialogue (who named 'Screenshot Action' and has Preview, see: http://goodies.xfce.org/_media/projects … ialog2.png) may be have an option to indicate for using to save the screenshot to the location, are continue place in the file system - into the folder, which was used previously and the screenshots have been already saves earlier.
So, if below at radiobutton "Save" must be placed the checkbox: "in the previously chosen folder", - and this checkbox may be programming tested and uses it as choise alternative of behavior the Screenshoter, at pressed 'OK' button - then it is usable method and the conflict will be resolved in the simplest and probably as best way for many user.
Every active user may have benefit of using this screenshoter, and may be very grateful, dear programmers!
I hope for your understanding and acceptance of my simple advice.

UPD: For example, design of the Action Pane, modifyed for my advice, can be like this: http://postimg.org/image/olam47vh5/
UPD2: it is a best method if the Pane has text-label, who display this information: 'Currently folder is: ~/Pictures/Screenshots' (see image here: http://postimg.org/image/g33z7qyuh/).

I am not sure I understand how this would be an improvement over what we have now. After you choose a location for the first shot in screenshooter 1.8.1 (Xfce 4.10), that same location is opened when you save the next shot.

Hello, Jerry!
Hm... "same location is opened" -- it is folder, who have been in the 'Save as...' dialogue pane?
P.S. I'm use Linux Mint 16 XFCE, it has xfce 4.10, if I not mistake.
So, this advice was agreed Steve Dodier-Lazaro, who is one of developers and committers the Screenshooter by GIT, and adviced to me publishes my proposal on mailing list and others public xfce dev resources...

Yes. For instance, if for the first screenshot I select ~/Pictures/screenshots/, then when I click "save" for the next screenshot the dialog box opens to the location I selected for the first one.
Are you using Xfce 4.10?

There is no difference, if you clicks OK 100 times or 200 times, for 100 screenshots?

I'm use Linux Mint 16 XFCE, it has xfce 4.10, if I not mistake.
P.S. Hm... I thought that the situation, who I described in the topic, was greatly detailed and clearly painted for everything...

For any enhancement request, you'd be better off creating a bug report (enhancement request) at https://bugzilla.xfce.org/.

The place to post feature enhancement requests is in the bug reporter.
P.S. I was posts it on mailing list for xfce developers.
That will also get their attention.

ADDITIONAL suggestion for developers:
Currently the Screenshoter haven't saving user's preference (i.e. choose 'save' or 'host on zimagez' option) and password for it... it's very sadly! But any developer may add to the app this features hmm... on half-hours because it's very simply...
P.S. This based on personal experience for ZimageZ@XFCE4-Screenshoter...
P.P.S. Please, use Keyring for authentication because it's simply and robustly.
