Hi, I'm dragonbite and I use Xfce

(sounds like an introduction to something like XA ... Xfce Annonymous! wink

I've liked using Xfce and with the latest upheaval regarding Gnome and Unity, it is looking like a safe haven in comparison.  Not to mention, my systems are still kinda old and having problems handling the 3D/transparent-everything type desktop environments (not that I don't like them, I do, but they are havoc on lower-end systems).

Currently I am planning on installing Fedora Xfce spin as Gnome-shell keeps crashing on my system (Fedora and openSUSE) while Ubuntu (and derivitives) won't work because their kernel all require PAE and my laptop doesn't have that.

What I am hoping to gain here is tweaks and themes to customize and set up my Xfce to be just the way I like it while still being able to run what I want/need and maintain stability.

If you are looking at Fedora check out Korora, it is a Fedora remix with all the extras like codecs etc. included. There is a Xfce version - https://kororaproject.org/discover/xfce
