Hello to all here

With two days of Xubuntu install under my belt, I'm finding it compulsive. I'm an enthusiastic amateur tinkerer, using this PC mainly as a media centre.

Under this installation (wiped out) lie Fedora (couple of years) and CentOS (over six years) on a slow machine that's now got some new spring in its step.
