Still Xfce; getting better all the time...

Greetings.
I've been lurking from time to time.
Preferentially using Xfce4 since about 2007.
Currently running Manjaro and Refracta.

Learning to prefer Thunar.

Of all the traditional DEs, I prefer Xfce, too.  I like its stability and customization options.  It's pretty open-ended for a traditional DE, which makes it fun to use.

Welcome!  (I'm new here as well.)

Same here.

Every 6 months I wipe my system and install Gnome and hate it, then KDE and hate it, and come back to XFCE because it is the best balance of speed, features, and simplicity. smile

Re: Still Xfce; getting better all the time...

I used Linux for about 10 years now.

I have used Xfce DE, since my first day with Linux. I have tried all the OS-Distros that use Xfce, as default .

I like most of the Xubuntu and Mint versions. Debian-7 Xfce is better. (more stable) Arch/Linux is the best.
