Is there any xfce Debian installer?

Is there any way to install debian with preinstalled xfce DE without having to install gnome?

Debian has an Xfce 'spin' for download on its mirrors. I use it but haven't checked carefully to see if it contains any Gnome dependencies. Because I like gedit and gcalctool, I install these on top of Debian Xfce, and they bring in a few.

I've personally used the Debian full Xfce installation CD many times, to install Xfce without having to install gnome.

There are many Debian download pages -- navigate to the appropriate one for you, depending on what protocol you want to use to download, whether you want a CD or DVD, whether you want 64-bit or 32-bit, etc., etc., etc., etc.

Then download the appropriate one that is listed as the Xfce installation media -- for example, the one I've used the most is the 32-bit Xfce CD media, called debian-7.2.0-i386-xfce-CD-1.iso.

For those who have a fast Internet connection (I don't), I think it's also possible to download the smaller "NetInstall" media, and use it to install Xfce, but I haven't done that in years, so I can't give you any advice on how to do it.

In the debian net-installer, it is possible to choose XFCE at the time of installation. Just the choose the menu "Alternative Desktop Environments" under, I think, Advanced options. This should also be the case with DVD installation image.
