Xfce4 Mixer Plugin - my roadmap

I using Google Translator now, but If you doesn't understand - I will try to use my english fork tongue

The idea is to separate design from xfce4-mixer xfce4-mixer-plugin.

If someone has been using PulseAudio and Xfce4 - must have Xfce4-mixer, although Pavucontrol better in the check (even a volume management programs, etc.) and xfce4-mixer is ideal for ALSA (so I believe).

So my suggestion is to separate xfce4-mixer-plugin xfce4-mixer on and configure it so that:
- If you use ALSA, run the xfce4-mixer
- If you use PulseAudio, you run the Pavucontrol

What do you think about that?

Is what I use for Pulseaudio

xfce4-mixer + xfce4-volumed

Re: Xfce4 Mixer Plugin - my roadmap

I mean - Xfce4 Mixer (and xfce4-Volumed and other things) work (PulseAudio) without problems. Although (perhaps in Debian only) xfce4-mixer xfce4-mixerplugin supplies and if you want to run a fast mixer (as a program), click on the plugin "Run the sound mixer" and get xfce4-mixer.

I found a solution - change in xfconf a line (xfce4-panel) with xfce4-mixer for pavucontrol. However, we still have installed xfce4-mixer ...
