Building and/or Installing on RH/Centos 4.8

I have no desire to build xfce4, but I'm not sure I have an alternative.

Most of the machines here are RH/CentOS 4.8 although there are a few Centos5.

I have been unable to find a package for Centos5, even though it says here : http://wiki.centos.org/AdditionalResources/Repositories  that such a package should be available through CentOS Extras.

So my questions are:
1.  Where might I find xfce4 packages for RH/CentOS 4.8 (even if older than 4.10, except active icons must be supported)
2.  Or, where might there actually be a CentOS5 package for xfce4
3.  Will xfce4.10 even be buildable on stock RH 4.8 (without hunting down and installing new stuff)
4.  Will it be possible to build and install xfce4.10 without admin privledges

I hope I can find packages, of course.

Thanks for the help
