Hello,
This is sort of an odd issue I was hoping someone could help me with. I am using xfce inside virtualbox. This allows me to adjust my screen resolution when I resize my virtualbox window. The xfce desktop does adjust correctly with the resize. However, the gtk (using gtkdialog) window loses its dimensions. The gtk window does not fit the widgets inside. I am able to resolve the problem by restarting xfce (logout and log back in). However, I would like a way to "refresh" the xfce desktop without having to logout and log back in when this happens. I am developing an customer appliance and they will likely not be able to do this regularly. Has anyone experienced this issue before? I have tried pretty much all of the xfce methods to refresh from the command line but none do the trick. I have to actuall restart the xfce4-session. I am using version 4.10
Here is a screen shot of the window before adjusting the screen size:

Here is it after adjusting the virtualbox window size a few times and using the same command to generate the window:

Thanks in advance for any help/advice,
John
