New here, sort of...

I've been using Xfce 4.8 for a while at work on RHEL 6, but just recently installed Fedora 18 on a new laptop and am now using Xfce 4.10 here at home. Although I've been off-and-on again with Linux since SLS Linux and Red Hat 4.3, I still find MANY occasions where "what I knew no longer applies"  :-)  I'm sure I'll be asking plenty of questions. Right now I'm playing with Alacarte and MenuLibre, trying to tame my applications menu but all in all Xfce is a great alternative given what's happened to KDE and Gnome in the last major versions of each.  :-(
