Hi from Mac > Ubuntu > Xubuntu convert, Suffolk, UK

Just a quick hi - after giving up Mac OS (after 25 years!) recently, I switched to Ubuntu - which is good, pretty and accessible, I love that it's there - but I found it a bit too clumsy for actual productivitiy, when at any given point I know exactly what I want to do, and where I want to be. XFCE seems a good fit! Managed to set up most things how I want - but have a few queries, so be patient with me on the other forums
