Hello, Long time user, first time forum post

Hey,
I have been using XFCE for a few years now, but I just recently built from source for a new Scientifc Linux V6.3 install I did on a new laptop. I only encountered one issue when compiling from source: xfce-panel required garcon which wasn't in the 4.8 source that I downloaded. I had to use the garcon from 4.10 to complete the install. Also, I had to do some fiddling around with PKG_CONFIG for the build process.
