I am using XFCE in ArchLinux. Is there a Device Manager with GUI for XFCE Desktop? Similar to Windows Device Manager - when open, it will list all PC devices by groups. And can rescan ports for new devices. Once found, they can be mounted by UDEV.
For example, if I eject a USB Stick or Card by command Eject in XFCE, but won't detach it from the PC, how I can rescan it to assign device name / number again, so that it can be auto re-mounted, hopefully by UDEV. Is fstab record required to re-mount in this case?
Any other ways to rescan USB memory without reinserting it?

As far as I know, there's no Device Manager in XFCE.

I assume you suggest to remount a USB Thumb with one of these packages? Unfortunately, they don't work for me, because they are intended to mount filesystems, while an ejected thumb no longer show any volume with a filesystem. It first needs to be "rescanned" somehow or reinserted to be scanned by UDEV.
Did you try your suggestion?
