[solved] How to increase Thunar rename dialog width?

Hello everyone.

I am using Xfce 4.6.2 in Debian Squeeze 6.0.5, Thunar version 1.0.2.

Is there a way to make the file rename dialog in Thunar a bit more wider? Now the filename field is so short that in many cases the whole filename is not visible. One sometimes has to resize the dialog window to make the filename fully visible. Not a big annoyance at all, but something I wish to change. smile

I've searched the web and the forums about the subject but haven't found anything useful.

Would someone here have some kind of solution?

You have to patch thunar-dialogs.c:thunar_dialogs_show_rename_file() and modify the line which set the width to 300. And rebuild thunar.
