What is the opinion about Udisks2?

The udisks2 is intended for remplacenment to udisks one of the features are:
*mount in /run/media/$USER/$DEVICE instead the FHS /media/$DEVICE
*more integration W/ GNOME (link avove)
*less terminal commands http://people.freedesktop.org/~david/ud … ctl.1.html
*integration W/ GPT
*complete HAL Free

an interesting words from the developer David Zeuthen
This program is not intended to be used by scripts or other programs – options/commands may change in incompatible ways in the future even in maintenance releases. Scripts and/or other programs should either use the D-Bus APIs of udisks2-daemon(8) or native low-level commands such as mount(8).

My cuestion is wht happend now W/ thunar-volman thunar and other
since udisks2 not show partitions alredi mounted in boot if use udisks2...

Wath happen now, any plans, any change what now????

MOre links for information or are apresiated

Re: What is the opinion about Udisks2?

I'm interested in this as well. Currently, automatic mounting doesn't work on Arch.
