Re: Xfce 4.10pre2 released!

I've got a video of myself comparing xfce4-4.10pre2 against xfce4-4.8.0, which I've put on my channel on YouTube.
If you would like to see it it is here. ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pawg3pY9oak

I would be interested in making an even more informitive video when 4.10 goes final, if any of the members want to let me know what I missed, I'll do my best to get it all into the next one.

The new appfinder has categories, but they are hidden because your menu-setup is broken. That's also why you can't find the settings menu ;-). I think XDG_MENU_PREFIX="xfce-" is not exported.

The monitors are probably not working right in your setup, because this code did not change in both xfdesktop and xfce4-panel.

That said, all new stuff is in the 4.10 tour which we created this weekend so translators can do their work before 4.10 goes final next week: http://www-test.xfce.org/about/tour

And please call it four-point-ten smile

Re: Xfce 4.10pre2 released!

Fixed the problem in appfinder that was putting everything in 1 category when gnome's menu was loaded.
