New french developer in the house

Hi guys,

As written in the title, I am a french developer. It's true I like red wine ^^

I have really worked with Linux for some months. I tested the three desktop environments, the result is clearcut : for me XFCE is the most appropriate D.E. to work seriously. About personal use, I found everything that I want in it.

Now, I am very happy to be registered here. I hope I will can help somebody, share information or suggest some ideas.

Exceptionnellement je réponds en français.

Je suis utilisateur de Xfce depuis deux ou trois ans, ayant abandonné KDE qui devient de plus en plus gourmand.

Ma distribution : Mandrake, devenus Mandriva, et maintenant Mageia

Welcome.
Maybe you can help Xfce and improve your skills at the same time.
In my experience, Xfce has kept light and very flexible and the developers have been open to discuss its course with the user base.

I just switched to it and have learned more about the insides of Linux in a few weeks than in a few years with other Distros.

I'm also French and I see there are lot of French in the project.
It's ironic, because there is no French translation for the website.

Je suis français également  et j'ai remarqué qu'ils y avaient beaucoup de français dans le projet.
Ce qui est ironique, vu qu'il n'y a aucune traduction française du site.
