Synaptics and Wacom are touchpad devices, I think.
And 'denting' may have been some language flaw (I'm not a native speaker either) but maybe it was intended as 'giving feedback on eventual problems' or something like that.
I'm using Fedora 17 pre-release. Let's see if 4.10 makes it to final.
