Please let Thunar to automatically disable show hidden files if selected like Nautilus has, this is the best because lot of people really liked this way when i installed Ubuntu-s but now i moved to XFCE because other desktops are become so fat and XFCE ha reached state where it is very easy to use (beginning with 4.8). I hope XFCE will always stay light without massive dependencies in same time very easy to use like Gnome 2 was.

Please make features request on the Xfce Bugzilla (bugzilla.xfce.org) and be as accurate as possible: "automatically disable show hidden files if selected like Nautilus has" is unclear if you are not a Nautilus user.
Cheers,

In short description: when i select show hidden files, then i close Thunar and when i reopen Thunar files are hidden again. Maybe someone who knows Nautilus can enlighten better this.

I use xfce 4.8 on xubuntu oneiric and if I click "show hidden files", then close-reopen thunar, I still see hidden files shown correctly ...
Am I wrong about something ?

That i mean after reopen, files should be hidden again like Nautilus. This option is very good because casual desktop user rarley uses hidden files and it is good if option is only enabled temporary.
