Hello

Hello,

My name is Thierry, I'm living in south's France.
I'm transfuge from windows. I'm using linux at work (I m programming in a lot of language) and with time I'm coming on linux with my computer. Firstly user of gnome 2, I'm install it on some friends computers but with unity (very slow with old computer and not appropriate in developpement work), I'm searching another desktop and I found Xfce. Since I use it and install Xfce on many computers.

Sorry for my english wink
Happy to be here

Best regards,
Thierry

Re: Hello

Bienvenue, Thierry

I was a GNOME 2 user as well, and since GNOME 3 has debuted I was looking for a classic desktop environment setup to continue a task-oriented setup rather than the application-oriented setup GNOME 3 has. XFCE is very lightweight, very customizable, and listens to its community ... I believe I will be an XFCE user for a long, long time.

oh, you want eXtremely Fast Computing? thats Easy ...
