Hey!
There's a little bug in power-manager, namely when I use my laptop with very low brightness (lower than the setted-up powersaving level) and the power saving module activetes, it increases the brightness.
I'm using XFCE 4.8.3 on Arch and xfce4-power-manager 1.0.10.
This could be solved with adding a single line like this:
if (current_brightness>powersave_brightness){
<current code>
}
Regards,
Gergő
ps: Maybe this is not the best place for this, but I'm new here. ^^"

If you think it's a bug, I suggest you to post it on the xfce bugzilla : https://bugzilla.xfce.org/
Otherwise, there is also the xfce4-dev mailing list https://mail.xfce.org/mailman/listinfo/xfce4-dev/
Xfce is NOT Xubuntu. Bugs in Xubuntu don't mean that Xfce is buggy ...
