Nice to be here

Around 1985 I did build computers and wrote my software.

Then there was Atari St and Falcon.

Next Windows 95 and ME. But the virusses and cr*p did force me to KDE legacy in Linux.
Then after that the years of annoyance of KDE 4. Switched to Gnome legacy.
Gnome destroyance made me look after Lxde and Xfce (which I tried more times, years back).

Xfce on Mint 9 LTS is my day to day workhorse now after LMDE Mint (Gnome 2.3)...
It's fast, rather complete and very configurable. A lot of Os's can learn of that.
It reminds me of KDE legacy in honesty.

I hope with UEFI Secure Boot, Social Media, handhelds and whatever, I don't have to continue being
sort of a nomad. But for now it is quiet for some time. Thanks a lot.
