Late to the party, but I have never had a destktop looked better to me than XFCE with Faenza and Greybird.  The colors are gorgeous, even for this red-green impaired user, and everything is attractive, legible, and easy on the eyes.  Since I don't believe in spending days fiddling with such things, I would never have found these for myself.  Thank you for making them part of the standard look recommended for XFCE development, which is how I learned about them.
