XFCE on a netbook

Hi,

I'm trying to setup XFCE on my netbook as I've been a fan for ages. I would like to get it to run with undecorated maximised windows and maximised windows by default, as my netbook is tiny, like maximus does. Unfortunately maximus does not seem to play nice with XFCE as it maximises windows to fill the space they would with borders only without any, so you can see your desktop through the gap above your windows.

Does anyone have any suggestions for something I could use to get this effect?
