Hi, I'm Zach. I'm yet another Unity/Gnome migrant who hates the netbook-like interface of those two desktops. I just switched to XFCE on Arch about a week ago, and am very happy that XFCE has a nice, organized menu, a customizable panel, good theme support, a good settings manager that is very organized, and that it runs well even on my crappy Celeron laptop (which gets brought to it's knees by Unity). So far, this desktop seems very simple, but customizable in just about every aspect that I like. None of those giant icons next to the app or anything.
Thank you for providing me with a nice, solid DE to use for my everyday work.
