It seems to have a lot of GNOME apps. I suppose to make it similar to the main edition of Mint. Easy enough to fix.

I've just installed this on someone's machine. Yes, looks just like other Linux Mint editions, if you like that sort of thing. It even has GNOME terminal instead of Xfce's Terminal. But it's fast and has all needed codecs and non-free stuff that people will want. The install took twenty minutes (including partitioning) and updates about an hour and a half.
