Will 4.8 work with NVidia drivers?

In your tour of 4.8, you state:

"Xfce can now handle and setup multihead setups for any randr 1.2 compatible driver. Unfortunately, this means it will not work with Nvidia proprietary drivers."

Does the "it" refer to Xfce 4.8 as a whole, or just the multihead setup?

I took it to mean the multiheaded part.  I'm running 4.8 with nvidia drivers with no problem, but I'm not using multihead.

Xfce runs (or should run) on any display setup. Only when you launch the display settings dialog it will prompt the driver does not support randr 1.2 and suggests you to open the nvidia control panel.
