Icon support

Xcfe4.6.2 has only a partial support at icons "gnome-mime-*" ?
For example, I use the icon set "Gartoon", and for the mimetype icons, thunar uses the "gnome-mime-*" for perl scripts and php, but not for python scripts.

Is a design choise or it's planning to add a full support at "gnome-mime-*" ?
