Way of changing environment variable with starter - eg different locale?

Hi,

Some program just feil weird in ones own locale - eg because they are badly translated (by machine...) or because they are on a topic where translation is inadequate. In my case this is glade. It does not make things easier when you have two different names for lets say a property.

From shell, changing language is easily achieved by "LANG=C glade". when I create a starter with command: LANG=C glade it simply opens it in vim. So is there a way to achieve this behaviour?

regards, ari
