I use xfce2 because it supports the old style CDE like window manager
(terminals and edit sessions can be iconized on the desktop and stay in position)
I have 10 desktops with a few dozen open sessions per desktop.
It's just the way i work. Real messy
ANyway, my hard disk crashed and I don't have an xfce2 binary.
I heard 4.6 could do the same thing --- Does that work well? I'll try 4.6, but I'll be surprised if it works the old way.
Thanks
