[Solved] XFCE Disaster

[Using XFCE 4.6.0 from Ubuntu 9.04 repo]

Suddenly XFCE started having troubles upon launch, infinite number of xfdesktop (or sometimes xfwm4) processes spawned, which cause system to lock up. I've tried delete user settings, and purge/reinstall XFCE components, but it hasn't fixed the problem. Can anyone tell me what's wrong and how to fix it?

Re: [Solved] XFCE Disaster

The Session information is stored in ~/.cache/sessions/ , try deleting everything in that folder and starting Xfce again.  If all else fails, see how it starts (hopefully the way it should) for a new(fresh) user.
