Can I adjust this somehow. Obviously, the unpacker is missing. How can I change the path or the unpacker itself? it says: "Failed to extract files. No suitable archive manager found."

What format are you trying to extract? If its bla.rar, install unrar... if its bla.zip, install unzip, if its bla.bz2, install bzip2 etc

Have you installed squeeze? :?

Squeeze is a forked xarchiver that hasn't been updated in awhile. Definitely doesn't make much sense that it works on one and not the other... check the MimeTypes in /usr/share/applications/xarchiver.desktop on each computer, see if they're same/close and both contain application/x-zip;application/x-zip-compressed;application/zip;multipart/x-zip etc

Thank you, that was the reason. No xarchiver.desktop exists.
