Xfce is great, has an excellent team of developers, has an excellent community, but very limited as it is only available to people who can speak English or speak English.
I think this forum should have forums where other people with other languages can also share their concerns

xfcelav,
I agreed with you at all. In my case I am the administrator of sidux Brasil at http://www.sidux.com.br . we got many users for xfce nowadays. but if you have a portuguese community for xfce to learn about it, It would be a great idea because many users said to me they don't use the xfce because they cannot be supported in the portuguese language.
Best regards,

I think that would be ideal to have a community in Spanish, Portuguese or Italian, because languages are very similar. I'm using Google translator, because my native language is Spanish and I am spending a lot of unnecessary work.
I therefore believe that this is the perfect place for that, since the forum is officially official Xfce.
If necessary I can help to promote moderate and give and I think this will make our community of users increases.
Especially now that it has become Xfce 4.6 is a complete desktop environment, accessible, and light.

hi, xfcelav,
I wrote an article about sidux with xfce. If you can handle spanish, You can read my article about xfce at http://sidux.forumdebian.com.br/forum/v … e23b1#p556
Otherwise, you can download the sidux lite with xfce (spanish and english versions and multilingual version - only 300 mb) there at the sidux Brazil with the sidux host located in Brazil at this link http://sidux.c3sl.ufpr.br/release/ . I support your idea to build up a sub-forum to the multilingual language like portuguese and spanish together because they are very similar. A lot of xfce users will aprove it and cooperate with it with many posts and participating actively.Best Regards.

So for now I do not have full access to the internet to access your site I must ask my internet provider. No matter, as soon as I enable the forum, I register and I a member of their community.
Use debian but I like trying new distros, especially those that are minimal. So as I get access to sidux, download an iso and test it.
Best regards dear friend.

I think it would be a great idea to have a part in the forum for other languages. I'm spanish speaker, and I'm sure that there are a lot like me!

The problem with this is that none of the Xfce core developers or active contributor on this forum speaks English, so it might be nice of some rants and opinions, but we cannot guarantee technical support, pickup you problem and fix it in the code or point you into the right direction.
