Anyone know where I can find the commands that would allow me to switch to specific workspaces? I'd like to make alt+1 switch to workspace 1, and alt+2, etc via additional keybindings!
Thanks!

For me, those key binding switch tabs in Iceweasel. CTL+ALT+<arrowkeys> switch workspaces for me. I have my pager in a 2x2 layout so I use the left and right as well as up and down.

Yeah they do the same for Firefox. I was using wmii recently and I became very accustom to using their bindings to switch workspaces (alt+1, etc). I was hoping to change it so that xfce was more like wmii for bindings. Thanks though!
Also, I'd love to somehow change Alt+F2 to Alt+P instead.

You can have icons on the panel to decide which desktop to use. Left click the panel -> add to panel and you'll see a long list of items you can add to the
panel. One of them - I forgot which - is the icons for multiple desktops (go thru the list - it should be obvious).
