Hi,
When I upgraded to 4.4, I lost my lock and logout buttons. I tracked down the actions.desktop file xfce4/panel-plugins/actions.desktop and tried changing the "Icon" setting from "xfce-system-exit" . But with no luck.
I tried running gtk-update-icon-cache and restarted XFCE, but that didn't work either. Any ideas are welcome.
I switched from 4.2.2 which of course did have the same structure for panel-plugins. 4.2.2 also used the file hicolor-index.theme, which xfce 4.4 doesn't have in my install anyway. In short, how can I figure out where XFCE is looking for icons and why it can't find them?
I am also missing some icons from Settings Manager.
Thanks,
Cam

Hi,
I've got exactly the same problem :?
Thanks in advance.
P.S
When I upgraded to 4.4, I lost my lock and logout buttons.
I am also missing some icons from Settings Manager.
Are those settings releated to the transparency?
