Installation Fails in Extraction Phase

Hey,
I'm trying to install xfce-4.4.1 on a qemu emulating a mips machine.
When I start the installation, I pass the Archive Integrity, but somewhere during the Graphical installation - it get's stuck, and I get extraction failed message.
I don't really think it's supposed to be connected to the emulation - but since I don't really know what it does while extracting, I thought it might be important to state.  (I did manage to xfce on an intel machine, with the same script).

If anyone have a notion what might be the problem, please share with me.

Thanks,
Yuval

Can you post the complete warning?

Re: Installation Fails in Extraction Phase

root@(none):/xfce# ./xfce4-4.4.1-installer.run
Verifying archive integrity... All good.
Uncompressing Xfce 4.4.1 Graphical Installer....(lots and lots of dots).........Extraction failed.
Signal caught, cleaning up
