Hi guys,
I love how fast xfce is and i'd use the whole suite if I could solve this one problem. I've searched high and low on google for an answer, so I thought I'd ask here in the off chance someone knows if this is possible.
When I try to position the icons on my xfdesktop (latest svn) I can see a big box around the icon. A kind of padding that doesn't allow me to put the icons any closer together. I have a lot of stuff on my desktop, so that wastes quite a bit of space for me.
My question is, does anyone know if there's a way to change this? Is it themable? I don't mind even getting into the source to change this as long as I know where to look.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

But how can i change the space between the icons on the desktop??

You can't change the padding used with xfdesktop, but changing the font size can
sometimes help.
If you want to patch the code have a look at 49 and 50 in ./src/xfdesktop-icon-view.c

I don't mind the padding, but it is a bit annoying that I can't have icons all the way to right or the button of screen...
