Desktop refresh

Hi,

I installed xfce on a Debian Etch with debian packages (xfce 4.3.99).
I have a little problem: when I create or delete files on the desktop, it's ok, files appear or disapear in live.
But when I empty trash, the icon is not refreshed, I must type on F5 to refresh it.
Do you know the solution to repair that ?

IIRC the trash uses a timer to check whether the trash is empty, but if auto file refresh is working (fam/gamin running) you cannot do anything about it.
