The module Xml::parser isn't available on CPAN

when I click the "install from CPAN", the following shows:
Running install for module XML::Parser
The module Xml::parser isn't available on CPAN.
Either the module has not yet been uploaded to CPAN, or it is temporary unavialable.
and it says "Try 'i Xml::parser ' ".

I've no idea any more!!!
could you help me?

Click what? I don't believe XFCE comes with a "Click 'n' Install" feature. This sounds like an issue with your package management application. Of course, that's not an XFCE issue and, even if it was, you didn't tell us what package manager you're using...rpm, apt, portage, etc.

Maybe if you wait a little bit, it'll be available. Or have you been trying for several days with the same result?

Did you? I mean try what you were told you to try. If you did, how'd that work out?

The best I can offer is trying this ...

mkdir ~/xmlparser
cd ~/xmlparser
wget http://cpan.org/authors/id/M/MS/MSERGEANT/XML-Parser-2.34.tar.gz
tar xf XML-Parser-2.34.tar.gz
cd XML-Parser-2.34
perl Makefile.PL
make
make test
su -c 'make install'

It speaks about the Xfce installer(xfce4-4.x.x-installer.run) which installs these module.

What did you do to solve it? Someone else might have the same problem and they'd be left hanging by this thread (no pun intended, but it kinda worked out that way)?
