Accessing Clipboard from bash

Hi,

Sorry this may well be a bit off topic - I've no idea how much XFcce controls the management of the clipboard and the highlight text - middle click function. I was wanting to write a script to use espeak to read anything that was highlighted, and assign it to a shortcut.

Do you know how I'd goain access to this?

Re: Accessing Clipboard from bash

Xfce uses the gtk clipboard code. The only thing to manage your clipboard with Xfce is by using the xfce4-clipman-plugin.
