open dialog

Good afternoon.

When I do file->open in xfce apps, I can't type in a filename anywhere. I recall I could before, in previous iterations of this dialog. Any notion how I could type something in a box (as in a save dialog), instead of clicking on various buttons?

Re: open dialog

This depends on GTK, if you have gtk 2.10 installed, you have the new open dialog (or hit Ctrl + L)

Re: open dialog

It would be cool if it was possible to snap Thunar into the GTk open/save dialogs.

Re: open dialog

Looks like I may want to wait until Debian Unstable updates from gtk2.0, then. Thanks for the pointer.

:?

Because it has the compact list view mode and single-click.
