thunar dbus error

I just installed 4.4.0 with the installer and everything seems to work correctly. However, when I run thunar from the command line it exits with the followng

31417: assertion failed "!_dbus_transport_get_is_connected (connection->transport)" file "dbus-connection.c" line 1797 function _dbus_connection_last_unref
Aborted

The application seems to work except for the "cannot connect to trash service error" that others have gotten. I have verified that things are loaded as they should in the .rc file. My guess is that this error has something do to with the above dbus error.

system specs:
fedora core 5
dbus version: 0.62

do I need to be a higher version of dbus?

You can try updating the dbus version, this will probably get you rid of the assertion warning. You can also search this forum, because more people had this trash warning (although i though it was already fixed in RC2).
