After compiling beta 2 on Ubuntu (Dapper Dan) I can't configure the print manger ....
CUPS is not available (visable) in the Printing System Selection Utility
(None & BSD-LPR are the only available selections)
Printing works fine using KDE
Not sure if I should report this as a bug (where?) ... just in case the problem is the nut behind the keyboard.
If this is a bug can I force the selection by editing a config file.

Sounds like a configurationerror but if it's still a bug, you could search/add it on http://bugzilla.xfce.org/

Hummm, I have exactly the same problem except I downloaded the 'stable' version and I am still running Breezy.
If I can't fix it in the next day or so I'll have to go with another WM :-(
