How to add keyboard shortcut that insert space character?

I have this problem with Wikipedia/MediaWiki editor that when you type fast you end up pressing CTRL+SHIFT+SPACE that inserts   into the editor.

Is there a way to intercept this shortcut and insert space. As I understand the shortcut require adding executable file that will run when
you press a key combination. But what about if I want to insert something into the current editable focused window?
