How to invert screen colors in wayland

I mean something same as this

xcalib --invert --alter

The solutions I searched for are either specific to wayfire (keyboard shortcut Super-I), specific in gnome or kde. But nothing comes up that is either specific in xfce, or something in general that works regardless of the DE being used.

So is there a general way to do so, or specific to xfce?

Edit: It's nothing urgent. But I want to know of some other ways that work. Since I can always stick with X11 or install wayfire if I really need that feature smile Thanks btw.

maybe you can try: https://github.com/swaywm/sway/issues/6 … 1046316739
i don't test it as using Xubuntu where not wl-gammarelay-rs package and also using Wayfire where is mentioned hotkey for Wayfire invert plugin wink

Re: How to invert screen colors in wayland

Thank you for the link, although for now understanding it is beyond my capacity. But while I am learning some c++, I might be able to slowly pick up some math along the way as well. I'm saving your content and will read it in depth later smile

Edit: added back the post above me without bumping the thread
